Rishabhdev Jain Research Chair

Rishabhdev Jain Research Chair was established in 1996 for the promotion of academic research in Jain Culture and Philosophy. The objective of the chair is to organize Lectures, Workshops, Seminars and Conferences on the various topics of the Jain Dharma, Teerthankers and their Teachings. Publication of Books and Literature on different issues in Jainism is also the purpose of the Chair. Yearly Journal Rishabhdeshna is being published by the Chair. Four Research Students are Registered and actively engaged in the Chair. In current Academic Year B.A. Honours and M.A. in Jainology Course has been started by the chair. On dated 7th April 2019 a Special Lecture of Aryika Shiromani Sri Gyanmati Mata ji have been organized by the Chair. Every Year Sri Rishabhdev Jayanti have been celebrated by the Chair. Presently Dr. Dev Narayan Verma is working as Assistant Professor/ Research Officer and Dr. Alok Mishra is working as Research Assistant in the Chair.
