The primary mission of Pharmacy profession is to have a positive impact on the provision of public health service by ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. There are various facets to this mission, including the preparation and distribution of medications as well as contact with patients and other members of the healthcare team. In view of importance of this profession,Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (IOPS) has been established in the year 2021 in the residential campus of the Dr. Rammanohar Lohia Avadh University, Ayodhya. The university has received approval from the Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi to start two courses namely Bachelor in Pharmacy and Diploma in Pharmacy from the session 2021-22 with 60 seats in each course.

The vision of the Institute is to establish a progressive center of talent for the Pharmacy profession by synergizing the fundamental knowledge, skills, expertise and technologies to drive the transformation of the healthcare system in the present era.
