The Physical Education was established in 2005 under self-finance scheme. It runs two programs namely M.P.Ed. with intake of 30 and B.P.Ed. with intake of 50 students. The program besides covering various aspects of Physical Education lays an equal emphasis on physical and moral development of its students. More than 5 students have qualified NET examination and almost all of them are working as Physical Education instructors in the schools of Central and State Government. Teachers of the program have produced about 20 research papers in reputed journals and they regularly participate in seminars and workshops of International and National level.
